The greater Detroit area proudly offers a network of public transportation services which provide mobility options within the City of Detroit and nearby suburbs. Transit systems continuously work together for the good of the community, keeping commuters, students and seniors on the move seven days a week. Plan your trip downtown and beyond with us and coordinate the nearest rides on these systems:

QLINE - The QLINE is a 6.6-mile circulating streetcar loop serving 12 locations on Woodward Ave. from Downtown Detroit through Midtown, New Center and the North End.

MoGo - MoGo is Detroit’s bike share system, featuring a growing community network of on-demand bicycles and self serve stations.

DART is the regional pass which enables riders to pay one fare for seamless transfers between DDOT and SMART buses as well as the QLINE. Now you can board any route and go in any direction.

Available in 4-Hour, 24-Hour, 7-Day and 31-Day passes, DART is can be purchased in full fare or reduced fare for students, seniors and people with disabilities. Ride unlimited on one or all of these systems during the time presented on the pass or by using the DART app.


SMART Bus - SMART is Southeast Michigan’s regional public bus system.

DDOT - DDOT primarily serves the city of Detroit, with additional limited service to nearby cities of Dearborn, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Harper Woods, Livonia, Redford Township, River Rouge and Southfield.

Transit Windsor Tunnel Bus - Transit Windsor operates a cross-border service through the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel, seven days a week to downtown Detroit (proof of citizenship required). The Tunnel Bus route includes Huntington Place Rosa Parks Transit Center and Hart Plaza.

University of Michigan - The Detroit Connector provides transportation between Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Detroit in support of curricular, co-curricular, research, service-learning and community service opportunities. The service is available to U-M faculty, staff, and students, as well as the general public.
The Detroit Connector is run in partnership with Michigan Flyer. Riders can make an online reservation any time. Detroit Connector staff can be reached during regular office hours: Weekdays: 6:00am-6:00pm Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am-5:00pm Holiday hours may vary
